The ‘Business Growth Factor’ direct mail campaign was a fun, clever, and visually engaging direct mail tool to introduce prospects to a thoroughly revolutionary customer retention software as a service product called Systino.
This two-part direct mail campaign combined a light and ‘happy’ visual style with clever, unexpected, informal copy that makes the viewer ask the question, ‘What exactly do these people do?’ … which is exactly the question we wanted them to ask! It also created a sense (when reading the cover) that the reader was ‘waving/saying goodbye’ to the old days of customers leaving (at a rate of 20% to 40% a year), so the text is larger at the start of the copy and gets smaller as the reader gets more distanced from ‘the old days.’
The 5″x5″ direct mail cards were sent to recipients in clear plastic envelopes so that the envelope didn’t have to be opened to be viewed by the target audience (the clear sleeve also substantially protects the direct mail piece). Sequential direct mailers to a carefully segmented target group were followed by business development calls and communication of additional information on the product and company.
